The South Los Angeles Healthy Homes Program provides life-changing benefits for families by reducing residential and environmental hazards to improve family health through our culturally responsive community health outreach methods.
The South Los Angeles Healthy Homes Program responds to
environmental health threats caused by slum housing. The Healthy Homes team, comprised of community health promoters, provides home-based
case management and environmental assessment including assistance with hazard
remediation and tenant advocacy to improve systemic changes and legal
enforcement based on fieldwork data.
