The South Los Angeles Healthy Homes Program responds to environmental health threats caused by slum housing. The Healthy Homes team, comprised of community health promoters, provides home-based case management and environmental assessment including assistance with hazard remediation and tenant advocacy to improve systemic changes and legal enforcement based on fieldwork data.
