The American Academy of Pediatrics Medical Home Chapter Champions Program on Asthma has released a revised edition of the Key Points for Asthma Guideline Implementation resource. This 2-page summary of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma (EPR-3) was created to assist pediatricians in implementation of the guidelines in practice. This quick reference can be used in the office to support pediatricians in their efforts to improve care for children and youth with asthma within the medical home. The resource is free, available for download, and may be printed and shared widely. The revised edition of Key Points for Asthma Guideline Implementation can be found at http://medicalhomeinfo.org/downloads/pdfs/KeyPointsForAsthmaGuidelineImplementation.pdf.
