The District Department of Energy & Environment's (DDOE) Lead-Safe and Healthy Homes program and its DC Partnership for Healthy Homes work to identify and end asthma, lead, and other environmental health and safety threats, and to improve energy efficiency. Eligible participants receive a home environmental assessment and energy audit, family education, an asthma management diagnostic, and case management coordination. You can also learn more about home hazards at DDOE's Lead-Safe and Healthy Homes Hub.
