Our Asthma programs are designed to reach out to any child or adult living with asthma in the state of Oregon. Our goals are to decrease the burden of Asthma, decrease the number of smokers, increase number of organizations working toward clean air for our schools, homes, and communities. We train leaders for adult and childhood asthma, self-management education programs.
We provide learning opportunities for asthma education for health care professionals. We train leaders to help adults and teens quit smoking. We are actively engaged in advocacy for clean air in the schools, homes, and communities in our state. We act as a resource for any person living with lung disease to obtain the information to knowledgeably work with their physician toward self-management of their medical condition. We continue to grow our programs and advocacy toward these ends. We are "fighting for air".
