Asthma Program at Children's Mercy Hospital

Our Asthma Program includes inpatient and outpatient asthma management utilizing the 2007 NAEPP Guidelines.  Asthma education occurs at all settings by a respiratory therapist or nurse including a Flip Chart method of asthma education and an Asthma Action Plan.  The program also includes; The Center for Environmental Health, social services, targeted asthma interventions and community outreach and collaborations.
