Upsilon Eta Omega Service Foundation, the fundraising arm of Upsilon Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, was established and registered as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in March 2009.
Through the leadership of the board of directors, its purpose is to meet the philanthropic needs of Upsilon Eta Omega. For over fifteen years, Upsilon Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has provided scholarships and conducted programs to enhance the health, welfare and educational development of individuals and families in the Fairfield and Birmingham Communities.
Upsilon Eta Omega Service Foundation goals are to:
- Provide financial assistance to deserving individuals who are seeking higher education
- Support local organizations through volunteer services and financial assistance annually
