The Chicago Asthma Consortium is a coalition of medical and public health professionals, business leaders, government agencies, community activists, and others dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with asthma through information sharing, networking and advocacy. The Chicago Asthma Consortium’s goal is to improve the quality of life for the more than 300,000 people in Chicago living with asthma, a chronic lifelong condition that can be controlled with effective healthcare and management. Working together, CAC members strive to increase the productivity of the workforce, to reduce days lost from school and work, and to reduce the costs of healthcare
