Since its establishment in 1916, Breathe New Hampshire (BNH) is committed to both the elimination and prevention of lung disease, and the care and assistance for those living with lung disease. Breathe NH serves the entire state of New Hampshire from one office in Manchester. The organization’s current mission reflects its focus on modern threats to breathing, including tobacco smoke, unhealthy air, as well as diseases such as asthma, COPD and lung cancer. Through education, advocacy, research, and partnerships, Breathe NH is working to involve New Hampshire citizens in matters that affect breathing, and ensure that those living with lung disease have the support and resources that they need. BNH provides technical assistance, resources, training and support to professionals, patients, students, parents, teachers, childcare providers, legislators, and others.
