Oklahoma Asthma Initiative

The Oklahoma Asthma Initiative is a coalition of individuals and organizations working together to improve the health outcomes for Oklahomans affected by asthma. We have six work groups that interface with each area of care related to asthma, in an effort to reduce the asthma burden within our state. Our work groups are engaged in projects that impact the community, patients and caregivers, medical professionals, and are driven by our utilization of data and a surveillance tracking system. Our program utilizes the HP 2010 objectives as a framework for establishing priority and measuring success.
