The Suburban Asthma Consortium was created to serve as a forum of cooperation and information exchange for groups and individuals involved in asthma care in the Chicago suburban area.
The Suburban Asthma Consortium was created with the goal of serving as a forum for cooperation and information exchange for groups and individuals involved in asthma care in the Chicago suburban area. SAC is comprised of five standing committees focusing on community asthma projects including education, public awareness, research and outcomes, schools and pharmacy. The overall mission of the organization is to reduce the morbidity and mortality, enhance the quality of life and advocate for those affected by asthma.
