NYCAP aims to develop and advance a plan for asthma prevention and control in New York by bringing together a diverse group of organizations and individuals who will share information, resources, studies and findings related to asthma, and improve policies and practices of systems known to influence asthma.

The New York City Asthma Partnership (NYCAP) is a coalition of individuals and organizations who share an interest in reversing the asthma epidemic in New York City. NYCAP''s Vision NYCAP envisions a city where every person lives in an environment that promotes respiratory health and where people with asthma live full and active lives. NYCAP''s Mission Statement The mission of NYCAP is to develop and advance a plan for asthma prevention and control by bringing together a diverse group of organizations and individuals who will: • Share information, resources, studies and findings related to asthma, and • Improve, or make recommendations to improve, policies and practices of systems known to influence asthma. Who joins NYCAP? NYCAP members include representatives of community-based organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, medical centers, social service agencies, and others.
