St. Louis is one of the states that has increased asthma rates for children. The St. Louis City Health Department wants to educate the community about asthma and increase the number of children who take their medicine and asthma actions plan to school, sports activities and childcare facilities.
Asthma Friendly St. Louis is a program that does asthma education in the schools and community. We would like to increase knowledge about asthma triggers, asthma action plans, physical activity, medications and use of asthma equipment.
