The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) through its cooperative agreement with the EPA’s Indoor Environments Division, aims to reduce exposure to indoor air pollutants through a combination of web-based and in-person education and training of primary care physicians and other health care professionals.
In turn, these professionals will incorporate high quality, effective asthma and environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) management into their daily practice so that there is a reduction of the number of patients exposed to asthma triggers and in children’s exposure to ETS.
