The Asthma Coalition of Los Angeles (ACLAC) has several fun events planned for Asthma Awareness Month.
- May 2, 10am - 2pm - ACLAC will participate in the 6th Annual Long Beach Health Resources Fair! This event will take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 1950 Lemon Ave, Long Beach, CA 90813 - APPLICATIONS FOR VENDORS ARE STILL BEING ACCEPTED. - May 5, 11am - 1pm - ACLAC will partner with BREATHE California of Los Angeles to host the first Asthma Symposium highlighting the connection between obesity and asthma. ACLAC's Chair, Dr. Scott Takahashi, will be the main speaker for this event. This event will take place at the California Science Center, 700 Exposition Park Drive, Los Angeles CA 90037. - May 15-17, 6-10pm each evening - ACLAC will host 3 ComedySportz shows at the Comedy Sportz LA venue. If you have never seen a Comedy Sportz show, you are missing some serious fun! Family friendly laughs played by teams of Improv Experts and a referee. Lots of audience participation for all ages.
