After a fatal asthma attack claimed the life of their 10 year old daughter, the Bogans created the “Claudia Rose Asthma Foundation”, a non-profit organization that raises funds through charity events to support finding a cure for asthma.

On May 17, 2008, a fatal asthma attack claimed the life of Katie and Eddie Bogan's 10-year-old daughter, Claudia Rose Allen Bogan. Along with their families, the Bogan's felt the need to make sure Claudia’s short life was remembered and celebrated. In August of 2008 the Bogan's, life-long residents of Charles County, created the “Claudia Rose Asthma Foundation,” a non-profit organization aimed at raising funds in Claudia’s name to be donated to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA). Claudia’s family plans to fulfill her dreams of finding a cure for asthma by hosting charity events, including fundraisers, live musical concerts, and an annual run/walk.
