The mission of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is to protect human health and the environment. EPA, Region 4  asthma program covers the southeastern states of the nation. Our number one goal in the Region is to increase the number of people, especially children, low income, and minority individuals, with asthma taking actions to reduce exposures to environmental triggers. We partner with Asthma Coalitions, State, Locals and Tribes to achieve our mission.
