The Healthy Home Evaluator (HHE) is a certification for home performance and energy efficiency professionals. The HHE was developed in partnership with the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI). An HHE assesses home-based environmental health and safety hazards and provides a prioritized list of recommendations to address those hazards for the homeowner.

We currently install indoor air quality monitors for those clients affected by poor Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ). The data collected by the monitors allow us to create an individual plan for improved indoor air quality resulting in the reduction or elimination of triggers for asthma attacks.

This rule requires each public housing agency (PHA) administering public housing to implement a smoke-free policy. Specifically, no later than 18 months from the effective date of the rule, each PHA must implement a “smoke-free” policy banning the use of prohibited tobacco products in all public housing living units, indoor common areas in public housing, and in PHA administrative office buildings.
