It can be a challenge getting people from an urban setting to attend asthma educational event. Did you offer incentives for people to attend the asthma blow out? If so what were they?

Yes and the incentives were set by principals and tailored to each school, because every cluster is different in terms of what drives them.

I met with school principals and asked them to determine what they felt would get their students/parents to attend.  They know best.

Incentives that principals offered included: homework passes, front of the line pass, goodie bag, free dress day, food for families, bus transportation, and free child care.

We advertised that free spacers would be given away.
