How could our medical-legal partnership pursue reimbursement for legal interventions? I work for a legal aid office that serves a group of pediatric clinics through a medical-legal partnership. My office provide free legal services to patient families. We seek to alleviate housing conditions problems for these families, in order to try to improve medical (and asthma) outcomes for low income pediatric patients. Would this be feasible?

Hello,

The Medicaid rule pertains to preventive medical services and Medicaid/CHIP reimburse for medical services. Some states and local governments have found other sources of reimbursement/funding for housing services.
