Question for Yolanda: How did you track school absences? Parent report or school recors or both?

Hi our Program has tract the records through both parent reportsand school records when available.

A useful metric to try to obtain is the visit counts to the school clinic especially for asthma medications or difficulties in breathing.  Comparsions between classrooms and schools may should that there is an IAQ problem in a classroom or a building

Thanks Yolanda.  Did you see discrepancies in the self report compared to the school report?  How often did you interview the families for this data, i.e., monthly or just baseline and 12 month follow up?
