What kind of groups/providers can perform in-home asthma visits? What does the team consist of, either those that will be working in my home and those that work on the other end? How can I get in contact with them to begin the process?

Great question!  The Lead Safe and Healthy Homes Program within DC's Department of Energy and Environment is staffed with a variety of helpful folks who include: registered nurses, an epidemiologist, an IT/Data Manager, and public health technicicans/analysts (who operate as case managers) with Healthy Homes training.  Many of our staff have become or will soon become Certified Asthma Educators via the National Asthma Educator Certification Board (https://www.naecb.com).
