Thank you for your comment.  Yes, eligibility for the $3 million is open to children with either blood leads of 5 micrograms/deciliter or greater, OR moderate to severe persistent asthma, OR both.  However, the more than 5,000 children I mentioned who were identified by Medicaid were children with moderate to severe persistent asthma (does not include chidlren with lead exposure).

The pull down money that MD was able to access through CHIP is available for both lead abatement and CHW-delivered in-home assessment for children with out of control asthma.
