The Asthma Remediation Program at Latino Health Access, is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for residents across Orange County. By systematically removing environmental triggers from the home, this vital program has already helped more than 300 families minimize their asthma symptoms and breathe easier

Program Benefits & Services
Eligible participants can receive up to $7,500 in benefits to transform their living spaces into safer, healthier environments. This funding covers two main areas of intervention:

Asthma-Friendly Products: Free relief tools including HEPA vacuums, air purifiers, dehumidifiers, and specialized cleaning supplies.

Permanent Home Modifications: Financial coverage for critical home repairs such as minor mold removal, moisture control interventions, carpet cleaning/removal, and new flooring installation.

Eligibility & Accessibility
Insurance Requirement: Participants must be enrolled in Medi-Cal (CalOptima).

Ages Served: Open to individuals of all ages.

Language Support: Fully accessible with services provided in English, Spanish, and ASL (American Sign Language).

Location: Accessible to qualified individuals and families throughout Orange County.

Collaborating for Community Health: Latino Health Access is actively connecting with community partners across Orange County to expand the reach of this program and ensure these life-changing resources connect with the families who need them most.
