The Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition (InJAC) is a voluntary network of people and organizations who work to reduce the burden of asthma in Indiana. The InJAC includes volunteer members from federal, state, and local governmental agencies, professional organizations, managed care plans, hospitals, schools, environmental groups, and other community-based organizations and individuals concerned with the prevention and control of asthma in Indiana. The Coalition includes an Executive Committee and six workgroups, which are coordinated by chairpersons. The coalition’s six workgroups focus on particular aspects of asthma which are data and surveillance, health care providers, public education, children and youth, advocacy, and environmental quality.
