I would like to know if there are model programs out there in regards to partnership with local schools and the pediatric primary care offfice.

Schools require a memorandum
Schools require a memorandum of understanding in order to allow servicces on their campus to protect students. What we have done in the past reached out to community clinics that neighbor our schools and invited the school nurses and physicians to meet and communicate. That has helped improve AAP returns.

We are currently in the
We are currently in the process of developing an MOU between one school district and a network of primary care physicians. We are also developing a Telemedicine Partnership with Schools. This has however, required lobbying efforts to get policy changed on what is currently recognized as a billable visit. We are moving in the right direction, but this proces is underway.
