Dr. Dearborn: You mentioned including patients in your program who had  asthma hospitalizations AND were on Xolair.  What percent of your patients generally require Xolair?  If you included only those with hospitalizations, is the prograjm still cost-effective?  Thank you.

In our Peds Pulmonary specialty practice, we only have about 20 patients on Xolair--at our children's hospital where we have ~500 hospitalizations per year.  Our apparent cost-effectiveness comes only from our hospitalizations experience in that we are just now also targeting the Xolair patients.
