How many AE-C were hired to conduct the educational program?

Did the clinics then hire the staff that did the asthma program to continue to have a positive impact on asthma?

AE-C are experts in asthma ed....were they part of the program?

Did ALA/HCSC reimburse staff or was this done through the clinic's budget? or Grant?

Thank you for your question.  AE-C were not hired to execute the program within each clinic.  Clinics implemented the QI initiative with their existing staff.  A QI framework along with tools, training, and resources were provided to the clinics.  One of the trainings was the ALA's Asthma Educator Institute.  Clinic staff were then strong encouraged to sit for the AE-C exam.
