As much as we want to have several key areas of focus that contribute to the overall management of asthma (i.e., access to primary care, healthy schools, encouraging physical activity), we are a small program. What do you think we should prioritize alongside a healthy home?

I would offer that helping the patients or participants in your program address the issues that make it difficult to follow up with care such as transportation, access to medications, insurance, legal issues etc. is very important.

We've found the combination of provider/health care clinic engagement and in-home visits has been a great success as it creates consistency in messaging and reinforces the training being provided within the the health care setting to extend to the patients and into their homes.
