I work in a program that conducts work-related asthma surveillance associated with occupational or work-related exposures/triggers in adults. I am wondering: How often do parents/guardians report or mention work-related asthma during home visits focused on their children? Our program is looking to expand our outreach efforts and partnerships, ideas are welcome!

How are the Healthy Homes visitation funded? Are they being covered by medicaid?

Any ideas on promoting exercise to provide free services to clients/patients to local gym/YMCA? For the popluation that cannot use public transportation.

As much as we want to have several key areas of focus that contribute to the overall management of asthma (i.e., access to primary care, healthy schools, encouraging physical activity), we are a small program. What do you think we should prioritize alongside a healthy home?

In Virginia, would like to know the hospital reaction and response to reduced ED visits and hospitalizations as a result of the successful intervention?  

Is there a way to get in contact with a larger asthma program or mentor to ask advice?
