Although you mentioned that the tool is rather blunt, did you find an increased level of knowledge of the household's asthmat triggers? on the part of the family and on the part of the CHWs that visit those homes?

Yes, we absolutely find that intervention participants have increases in knowledge about asthma triggers over the course of the intervention.  Our CHWs are extensively training in environmental trigger assessment and remediation so they are a great resource for our participants.  But the score reductions seem to correlate to anecdotal reports from the CHWs that they are seeing trigger reductions in the homes.
