We have had to put spirometry and PFT on hold during COVID.  I am concerned that there is asthma symptoms or obstruction not being treated because we cannot assess this.

I share that concern but I think that spirometry is one of many components of diagnostic evaluation and educating patients to be sensitive to early symptoms is important. Having said that our pft lab has been doing spirometry for several months and in general it is seen as a very low aerosol generating procedure when done in a controlled environment.
