No one is immune to the health impacts of climate change. But as with many threats to our health, certain populations are especially at risk. Some groups are more exposed to climate impacts because of where or how they live, some are more sensitive to health threats, and others may be less able to adapt to a changing climate. The EPA and U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) released two reports on Climate Change Indicators for 2014. Given that approximately 26 million Americans have asthma, it is important to understand and reduce the negative health impacts caused by climate change.
