New Jersey Law requires school nurses to have an asthma treatment plan on file for students with asthma.

The PACNJ Asthma Treatment Plan is the only plan approved by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services as meeting all the requirements of the NJ Law.

The PACNJ Asthma Treatment Plan was tested on a small sample of primary care physicians and 84% agreed that this plan significantly improved their ability to provide an asthma management plan to their patients compared to the one they were currently using.

This asthma treatment plan is available in eight languages including English.
