Partners for Asthma Action is supported by United Health Foundation and led by the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest. The project aims to improve the quality of life, school achievement, and life prospects of more than 180,000 low-income children living with asthma in the Greater Chicago area, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis, and St. Louis.

Programa Respira is based on the CHAMPS intervention sponsored by MCAN and GWU from 2012 to 2014. We work on a case by case basis on patient education with a focus on medication adherence and environment control at the patients home free of charge.

The ACES (Asthma Care and Environmental Strategies) program is collaborative approach between the WI Dept of Health Services-Division of Public Health and CHW to provide in-home analysis of environmental triggers to asthma combined with a comprehensive client educational program to address pathophysiology, medications, symptoms and early warning signs of asthma, asthma triggers inside and outside the home, and vaccination promotion.

NYU Pediatric Pulmonology Division specialists treat a wide variety of respiratory problems. We offer expertise in Asthma, Cystic fibrosis, upper airway disorders, chronic cough, and much more. We also run a state of the art pulmonary function lab and bronchoscopy services.

CLEARCorps. completes assessments and remediation of environmental triggers in the homes of high risk youth with asthma.

South Bronx Rising Together is a collaborative network of program providers and community stakeholders. This group will work together to create a community that is college and career ready by leveraging the expertise of a network of families, educators, business leaders, community advocates and service providers to support the lifelong success of families and youth in the community. We have five Collaborative Action Networks that meet monthly to work on projects specific to each goal. Goal #1- All are Healthy is focused on reducing the rates of asthma related ER visits and hospitalizations in children who live in Community District 3 in the South Bronx.
