In Virginia, would like to know the hospital reaction and response to reduced ED visits and hospitalizations as a result of the successful intervention?

VCU Healthl has been very supportive of this program even as hospital costs go down.  The results fit into the focus on community health and pediatric health.  The hospital has become more invested in this program over time and three hospital systems in the area are in dialogue to address pediatric asthma in the Richmond Metropolitan area.

I'm glad to hear they are being this supportive.  Loss of revenue seems to often be their primary concern and we encounter that a lot of the time here in Jackson Michigan.

If your program can fill in another aspect of the health systems mission then it can be seen as a positive contribution.  Also, we are seeing some increase in clinic costs due to more frequent follow up.  It is just less expensive care which the community supports.
