Is the tool optimized for multifamily housing situations and triggers that arise in those situations, such as "shared air"?

The majority of the households engaged in the asthma home visit programs are multi-family rentals and though we generally are looking at what triggers IN the home may be contributing to asthma symptoms, the CHW absolutely factors in potential triggers and exposures in the surrounding environment (neighbors smoking, windows being closed due to fear of community violence, etc.).  Shared air can certainly be a factor and generally the exposure of concern is smoke.  Generally this is the landlord/property management that is responsible for addressing this.

We include a question on our survey about tobacco smoke exposure coming from outsidde of the home/unit that would be captured in the ESS.
