CT Coalition for Environmental Justice Asthma Speakers Bureau

Call the Speaker's Bureau Coordinator, Dawn Simonsen, at 860-548-1133, to book a speaker who will provide a talk that can vary to fit the group and program. We often speak before church or parent groups, at shelters, or table at health events in urban areas. Talks are often 10-20 minutes in length but can go up to 60 minutes. AAFA's Asthma Management and Education Program

This program recognizes the critical role allied health professionals play in educating and caring for patients with asthma and allergies. Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago (RHAMC) has been a local public health leader since 1906. Today, the association addresses asthma, COPD, lung cancer, tobacco control and air quality with a comprehensive approach involving research, education and advocacy activities. RHAMC is widely recognized as a leader in addressing asthma in our communities. Recognizing the severity of the asthma epidemic, RHAMC provides several programs and initiatives to educate people with asthma and those who care for them.
