Parent mentoring delivered 1-on-1 to the parents of children with uncontrolled asthma through phone-, SMS-, and smartphone-based coaching.

CDS travels to local physician's offices on scheduled days to provide the convenience and cost savings of local specialized care at the GP level. We provide all materials, equipment/ supplies, and RRT to spend the one on one time that providers aren't afforded, thus decreasing the burden on the clinic's nursing staff.

Breathe Easy Home is a comprehensive structural intervention that brings together best practices from the weatherization and HVAC industries to remove and reduce allergy triggers from the indoor environment.

Qualified participants will receive study related medical care medication and compensation for time and travel no insurance is needed.

The Asthma Awareness Patch Program was developed by the Asthma Coalition of Long Island with the collabo­ration of Girl Scouts of the USA and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and has been supported by a grant from the New York State Department of Health to the American Lung Association of New York State, Inc.
