We are a student chapter of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, located at the St. Petersburg campus of University of Florida's Pharmacy School.

CooperSoft markets and sells chronic disease mobile health platform products of an array of small devices and applications for smartphones that gather vital health information and store it electronically, so consumers can take a more active role in managing their own care, treating chronic illnesses — and preventing acute ones. Smart phones are a means to improving health care. AsthmaWin is a patent pending mobile software platform for managing asthma. The initial mobile product is complete and is ready for a clinical trial and pilot with patients. The mobile asthma disease management platform interactively manages the workflow of the four major daily patients NIH recommended activities, monitors the local air quality, record peak flow meter reading, records maintenance medication, and records a diary of your general health and symptoms.

We conduct periodic research to inform educational providers and supporters of needs within key medical communities.

This is a demonstration project on asthma interventions that can be funded using a Pay For Success Model.

We are developing a Community Campaign Against Asthma.

Early Head Start Program

Our mission is to establish a “partnership” with the medical community to support and enhance the home management of chronic pulmonary conditions.

Our school is located in a low-income area, but students have required clinical rotations in all areas.

The Health & Wellness Alliance for Children (the Alliance), is a collaborative initiative of community leaders to collectively improve the health and wellness outcomes of children in Dallas, Texas. The Alliance focuses on improving community health by influencing factors outside of hospital care, including the social determinants of health and preventative care. The Alliance uses a “collective impact” approach that facilitates the alignment of many players within the community to form a common agenda for change around children’s health. The initial focus has been on children’s asthma. While Children’s Health Sytem of Texas (formerly Children's Medical Center) has served as the catalyst for this effort, the Alliance is comprised of and led by a cross­-section of Dallas community stakeholders committed to children’s health.
