Looking into starting the program in our clinic, The Charter Oak Clinic.
The Pediatric staff provides complete child care up to the 18th year, including immunizations, sick care, well-child checks, and other preventive services. Adolescent care is a particular focus, with an emphasis on complete teen health and pregnancy prevention. Efforts are being stepped up to battle the epidemic of asthma in our community through our participation in the National IHI Pediatric Asthma Collaborative, and the RAND study.
WE ARE TRYING TO GET ASTHMA CASE-MANAGEMENT SERVICES STARTED AT OUR COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS.I HAVE BEEN FOCUSING ON GETTING OUR PEDIATRIC POPULATION IN FOR ROUTINE ASTHMA SCREENINGS AS WELL INFLUENZA VACCINES DURING FLU SEASON. AS FOR ADULTS WE ARE STILL WORKING ON A PLAN.IM SIGNING UP TO GET SUPPORT AND IDEAS SO WE CAN MOVE FORWARD WITH OUR ASTHMA POPULATION.
