RI and MA have interesting reimbursement models.  There's another EPA webinar (archived) on this and they discuss this. Insurers are more and more willing to pay because of the outcomes. HOWEVER, in the latino community, there are some limitations due to some of the best CHWs having limited english proficiency, immigration status issues and limited computer skills....

We have a three tiered CHW positions at Sinai (CHW 1, CHW 2, CHW 3). The pay ranges from $11 - $25/ hr depending on level and experience, but all of these positions require only a high school education.
