Through both clinical care and community partnerships, Boston Medical Center (BMC) provides a full spectrum of accessible services to people with asthma within the Boston area, with particular emphasis on providing care for those who can not afford it.

The Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) is the health department for the city of Boston. The BPHC started the asthma program in 1998. Program efforts are designed to: increase access to quality medical care, ensure access to community based resources, track and monitor asthma trends, eliminate racial and ethnic health disparities in asthma, increase public awareness of asthma, and promote policies to support the prevention and control of asthma.

The mission of the Boston Urban Asthma is to build a comprehensive and coordinated approach to asthma control and prevention in Boston and throughout Massachusetts.

The office of Coordinated School Health works with local schools to address the needs of the whole child with increasing focus on asthma related issues (absences, etc.).

Breath by Breath provides testing and education to students and parents at schools and patients at clinics through a traveling ambulance.The programs goal is to provide testing and education to patients who would normally not travel to the hospital to receive care. Clinics are visited mo

From the moment the Breathe Better Bus pulls up, it is clear that this is not your ordinary classroom - inside, children and adults are invited to touch, hear, and interact with learning stations on asthma, smoking, indoor asthma triggers, outdoor air quality, and lung health, using all of the senses to promote lung health, knowledge of asthma, and to reinforce youth tobacco prevention messages.

Breathe California of the Bay Area hopes to prevent and reduce the burden of asthma for families in Bay Area communities through education, environmental assessments, trainings and in-service events, and other outreach and education activities.

BREATHE EASIER ASTHMA PROGRAM aims to equip adults and children to proactively control asthma.

Breathe Easier with Asthma Management (BEAM) is an initiative of The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey. The primary goal of the initiative is to raise awareness about asthma and educate Boys & Girls Club members and their parents or caregivers about asthma and how best to manage it.

In partnership with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America’s Health Equity Advancement and Leadership (HEAL) program, the Breathe Easier ™ Asthma Management Project (BEAM) addresses the needs of children and adults with asthma in underserved communities of the Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties that bear some of the heaviest burden of asthma. The Breathe Easier ™ Asthma Management Project (BEAM) provides at-home services to adults with Federally Qualified Health Centers and local providers to provide culturally appropriate case management for individuals with asthma.

The Jerome Alston Memorial Foundation is hosting our annual Breathe Easy Asthma Awareness 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run. For health related professions, we would like for you to participate in our health expo which will occur during and after the 5K. Our goal for the health expo is to educate the community on asthma and allergy prevention measures as well as other health related information. The intent is to be as informative and hands on as possible.

Breathe Easy at Home, a web-based referral system, allows doctors, nurses and other health professionals to refer their Boston patients with asthma for a home inspection by the Boston Inspectional Services Department to help identify and reduce environmental asthma triggers at home.

Breathe Easy Home is a comprehensive structural intervention that brings together best practices from the weatherization and HVAC industries to remove and reduce allergy triggers from the indoor environment.

Breathe Easy San Francisco plans to combine clinical and social care services to maximize the effectiveness of the team-based approach to asthma management.
