Community Care Plan of Eastern Carolina is a pediatric asthma subcommittee of a county-wide Medicaid care management entity that facilitates a school nurse program, education for local public health departments, a hospital-sponsored asthma care management program, and other efforts to decrease asthma hospitalizations and emergency department utilization.

Maricopa County Asthma Coalition members include representatives from state, county and local public health departments, environmental health agencies/experts, community non-profit organizations, school nurses, head start administrative staff, health care professional, hospitals, community clinics, health care plans, business, pharmaceutical companies and parents of children with asthma.

Community Action to Fight Asthma is a network of asthma coalitions in California working to shape local, regional, and state policies to reduce the environmental triggers of asthma for school-aged children where they live, work, and play.

Fight Asthma Milwaukee Allies aims to improve the quality of life of children with asthma and their families; to reduce hospitalizations, emergency visits, childcare and school absences due to asthma; and to eliminate disparities in childhood asthma outcomes in the City of Milwaukee.

Healthy Schools/Healthy Kids Clearinghouse of factsheets, guides and reports on children's environmental health and school facility conditions was created to serve parents in 1996.

The Colorado Asthma Coalition is a consortium of healthcare professionals and community members committed to working together as a united force to improve the health and quality of life for Colorado children and adults impacted by asthma.

The Suburban Asthma Consortium was created to serve as a forum of cooperation and information exchange for groups and individuals involved in asthma care in the Chicago suburban area.

Clean Air for Kids® is a Pierce County program offered through a partnership between the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department and the Puget Sound Asthma Coalition. A Clean Air for Kids® Asthma Outreach Worker is available to help families take control of their child's asthma. Services are free of charge and provided in the home at a time that is convenient for families.
