Guide to Asthma Policy for Housing and Schools

This online toolkit was designed to outline strategies and provide supporting resources to help community advocates as they address asthma policy in housing and school environments.

Help create asthma-friendly environments in your community! The American Lung Association has established policy recommendations and compiled resources aimed at community advocates to help reduce the burden of asthma nationwide for patients and families. In 2009, the American Lung Association released the National Asthma Public Policy Agenda that outlined the policy strategies that would have the greatest impact on the burden of asthma in the United States. As follow-up support, the Guide to Asthma Policy for Housing and Schools was compiled to offer templates and tools targeted to community advocates and policy-makers.
