I've been worried about a large increase of triggers & asthma episodes related to explosion of bleach & quat use, unnecessary wide spread disinfection despite advice to target, etc. Are you seeing this in your clinics & practices?

Re apparent correlation between COVID lockdown and reduced asthma hospitalization, is that observed in your own programs where you have already intervened, or more broadly i.e. as a national statistical drop?

Hello! What are the "best" supplies to provide to families to help with their cleaner indoor air goals and lessening asthma symptoms?  My organization has a grant to offer supplies in a range from $40-$200 per person. Thank you for your help! 

Can you send us results of your IPM efforts as a contributor to reducing asthma? I work with low income families in mult-unit housing where it's very difficult to enforce landlord participation in the process. I piloted an IPM project and reduced asthma triggers but did not study affect on  asthma.   

Home spirometers are being used in my CF population , have there been resources or funding for asthma patients?  

We have had to put spirometry and PFT on hold during COVID.  I am concerned that there is asthma symptoms or obstruction not being treated because we cannot assess this. 

During lockdowns there has been a reduction of air pollution.  Is there any evidence that the reduction of air pollution has contributed to a reduction in ER visits?  There are some studies that are correlating air pollution with increased COVID cases.  Is that because pollution may weaken the immune system?

Any recommendation with humidifiers or are they not recommended due to their high risk of contamination, and the risk of mold and dustmite growth?

Would COVID-19 combined with asthma be a lethal combination? Particularly with younger generations with asthma.
