Home assessment visits, education, and supplies for families of children with asthma who are 13 years of age or less. We serve 5 communities where our parent organization has a presence. We also serve 35 communities for children under 6 years of age with need for lead poisoning prevention/education services.

EPA Region 10 supports healthy and safe air quality in AK, OR, ID, WA, and tribal communities. Various programs support this goal, such as the air program, children's environmental health, lead and asbestos, and more.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Improvement Program in Tangipahoa Parish Schools to Prevent Asthma

The Head-off Environmental Asthma in Louisiana (HEAL), Phase II Project is a multi-component pediatric asthma management program that focuses on improving asthma among children receiving care at three federal qualified health center (FQHC) in New Orleans.

Asthma Education for inpatients as well as the community

The Chester Home Asthma Prevention Program (CHAPP) was a successful home-based asthma education and environmental remediation program for Chester City, PA, an Environmental Justice community funded by a three-year EPA grant administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. CHAPP addressed both indoor and outdoor asthma triggers and was a collaboration between the Crozer-Chester Medical Center and the Chester Environmental Partnership (CEP).
