Ordinance on IAQ in schools and other municipal buildings

Posted on: 21 May 2015 By: PVAsthmaCoalition

Hi everyone,

I am working with the buildings department to draft a city ordinance on IAQ policy regarding IPM, green cleaning and toxics use reduction and other IAQ issues. Can you please share with me any language you might have on state or local laws about IAQ?

This would be a great win to draft an ordinance for Asthma Awareness Month!!

Thanks!

Currently in 2015, two states, Florida (HB 285/SB 482) and North Dakota (SB 2321), are considering CHW certification bills. In 2014, three states, Illinois (HB 5412), Maryland (HB 856/SB 592) and New Mexico (SB 58), enacted legislation establishing a CHW certification program.
