The Riverside Community Hospital Asthma Education Program educates children and their caregivers about asthma and helps them establish an asthma home management plan.

Riverwood Healtcare Center is a critical access facility, located in Aitkin Minnesota. We have two AE-C's. We are a critical access hospital servicing both inpatients and outpatients.
We provide a 3 day camp for children ages 6-12 years with persistent asthma in July. The camp is sponsored by Carilion Children's as well as the Greater Roanoke Valley Asthma & Air Quality Coalition, and is staffed by medical professionals.
Providers can refer asthma patients to a monthly clinic where they discuss individual situations, offer preventative care and treatment options, and educate patients on the proper use of medicines, nebulizers, and inhalers. Patient progress and medications are tracked in an asthma registry.
MDCH Child and Adolescent Health Centers fund and support health centers all over the state of Michigan in medically and health professional under-served areas.
The Roseland Community Adult Asthma Clinic uses disease management as a tool to provide excellent pulmonary care to patients in the Roseland area.
Roseland Community Hospital Asthma Program provides professional services to the patients of the Greater Roseland Community that have asthma.
