Contra Costa Health Services Public Health Asthma Program provides asthma care and assistance in the home, the clinic and the schools of children within Contra Costa County in order to decrease hospitalizations, ED use and improve quality of life for children with asthma and their families.

The Coordinated Asthma Referral and Education (CARE) Program provides free home assessment, health education, athma management and supplies for children under 18 who have asthma in certain geographical locations in San Bernardino County. Migrant Families

The Craven-Pamlico Asthma Coalition works with area pediatricians to ensure that families have all the knowledge and tools needed to let their child with asthma go to school every day, participate in sports, and feel healthy because "Breathing Should be Easy!"

This is a program I am trying to get started in this area. There are currently no options for Asthma Education in this rural area.

Coalition to increase asthma awareness in Augusta, GA and surrounding community.

Call the Speaker's Bureau Coordinator, Dawn Simonsen, at 860-548-1133, to book a speaker who will provide a talk that can vary to fit the group and program. We often speak before church or parent groups, at shelters, or table at health events in urban areas. Talks are often 10-20 minutes in length but can go up to 60 minutes. Independent Pharmacist consulting services

The District Department of Energy & Environment's (DDOE) Lead-Safe and Healthy Homes program and its DC Partnership for Healthy Homes work to identify and end asthma, lead, and other environmental health and safety threats, and to improve energy efficiency. Eligible participants receive a home environmental assessment and energy audit, family education, an asthma management diagnostic, and case management coordination.
