Coalition

The mission of the Stanislaus County Asthma Coalition is to create an "asthma friendly" community by promoting awareness, education, management, and prevention.

The goal of the National Environmental Education Foundation’s (NEEF) Pediatric Asthma Initiative is to integrate the environmental management of asthma into pediatric health care.

GAP ensures that asthmatic patients have the education and resources necessary to help them manage their asthma effectively through individualized education, participation in local health fairs, and educational programs for local health care providers.

Luzerne County Asthma Coalition comprises representation from the hospital/clinic system, medical providers, nurses, health plans, and others to implement a pilot project whereby Asthma Care Packages are distributed at clinic sites to newly diagnosed pediatric patients.

The Asthma Regional Council brings together the six New England states to address the environmental contributors to asthma.

The Asthma Alliance consists of 10 corporate sponsors and 63 individual members providing annual screening of Head Start applicants, conducting educational programs targeting schools, hosting community awareness events, providing asthma referral and smoking cessation services, and more.

The EPA Asthma Team works to reduce the burden of asthma in the United States through partnerships, education, and awareness-building nationwide.

The Genesee County Childhood Asthma Task Force, through direct intervention and education in homes and community asthma education, aims to decrease asthma morbidity and mortality in Genesee County.

The Indiana Joint Asthma Coalition is a voluntary network of people and organizations who work to reduce the burden of asthma in Indiana.

The Chicago Asthma Consortium is a coalition of medical and public health professionals, business leaders, government agencies, community activists, and others dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with asthma through information sharing, networking and advocacy.
